About Our Founder
Raj Jyotishi Dr. Goswami Giridhari Lal ji (Ph.d)

Rajpandit Dr. Goswami Girdhari Lal Ji was the founder of the Publication. He was perhaps one of the first individuals to conduct extensive research in astrology and completed a thesis on predictive astrology and Maharishi Parashar, for which he was awarded a Ph.D. degree by Delhi University.
People are aware of the science of astrology, but unfortunately, the scientific data has not been adequately presented to the public. In recent years, we have seen humans land on the moon and continue with space exploration. Thus, the time is ripe to advance the study of astrology with a scientific mindset. Eminent personalities from the fields of education, society, and culture are associated with the functioning of this institution.
In line with this vision, the Publication publishes a monthly magazine in Hindi and English titled Goswami Jyotish Times, as it has in previous years.
Dr. Girdhari Lal Ji also served in various important roles: Director of the Institute of Sanskrit Studies & Astrological Sciences, New Delhi; Director of Bharat Sanskrit Nyas, New Delhi; Founder Member of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Ministry of Education & Social Welfare, Government of India); Working Member of Kendriya Sanskrit Parishad (Ministry of Education & Social Welfare); and a member of several social and literary societies.
He was also the General Secretary of Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab, and the All India Sanatan Dharma Sabha. He served as President of the Astronomical & Astrological Society of India and was Chairman of the Panchang Seminar organized by the Government of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Additionally, he was a Member of the International Congress of Orientalists (1964), an Organizing Member of the International Sanskrit Conference (1972), and the Founder Editor of Goswami Jyotish Times, the monthly magazine published in Hindi and English from New Delhi.
